Introduction
Awl Joinery are a small Nottingham based company with thirteen
years experience in all aspects of site and domestic joinery.
Typical domestic tasks undertaken are hanging doors, fitting
loft ladders, skirting, laying floors and these are but a
few examples from the list below.
Awl Joinery also have considerable experience in the more
traditional field of joinery and have been commissioned on
numerous barn conversions to create traditional roofing and
beamed ceilings. Feel free to browse our photo

The company has access to the plastering, electrical and
plumbing trades and will manage all of these to ensure that
each job progresses in a prompt and organized manner to suit
customer requirements.
Working area tends to be Nottinghamshire and occasionally
the neighbouring counties of Lincolnshire and Derbyshire but
have also travelled as far as Sussex, Hampshire and even Switzerland.
Awl - A pointed instrument for piercing small holes,
as in leather or wood; used by shoemakers, saddlers, cabinetmakers,
etc. The blade is differently shaped and pointed for different
uses, as in the brad awl, saddler's awl, shoemaker's awl,
etc.
